COOPERATION BETWEEN COMPANIES

Even if it often seems so, innovation is not only intended for companies with large budgets. SMEs also have to reinvent themselves in order to survive in the market. While corporations like to set up entire incubators and have several start-ups in close proximity, medium-sized companies have to go a little further to profit from the innovative spirit, but the effort is worth it. The important thing is that support is needed in this day and age. Whether the company has to cooperate with its spin-offs, start-ups or even the competition, common goals have to be defined.

As good as the intentions of the management may be, it cannot be warned often enough that everyone in the company must pull in the same direction. Employees must be aware that cooperation with other companies is not a danger, but an opportunity. The German fear or the "Not-Invented-Here" phenomenon have already made the difference in many promising cooperations.
